The government suggests that children in KS1 should be completing a minimum of 3 hours work per day - each day you will find lessons in phonics/spelling, English, maths and another subject (uploaded by 4pm the previous day). We understand that this is a challenging time and you may be working at home yourselves or have other children completing home learning, so please do what you can and get in touch if you require any support from us.
When your child has completed their work, there are options for what you could do with the tasks:
- for some work the mark scheme is provided (or work is marked as part of the lesson video). If your child has struggled and requires some feedback or support, email the work to us.
- work on Purple Mash/Spelling Shed/NumBots etc is automatically marked - you do not need to do anything else as the site informs us of how well a child has done.
- Written work and anything completed in theme lessons (art, PSHE etc) can be emailed to us for feedback. Work can be kept safely in a folder to bring into school when we finally return, if you wish.
